For Dads
A refuge…Somewhere they can allow the person behind the mask to be seen.
Men want a place to hang out with freedom from well intentioned friends, family and spousal differences about grief. They need somewhere that isn’t work, home and separate from their everyday lives. They have friend groups, hangouts and routines that all relate back to their lives in need of healing. There may also be a bit of perceived character weakness associated with Grief. They might scoff at the idea of grief in front of their friends and not want to show any vulnerability to their spouse and other children. They need refuge…somewhere they can allow the person behind the mask to be seen. A place where their unique pain is seen and in companion of others.

All dads welcome including Step Dads, Adoptive Dads, Grand Dads.
